Booking conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 - Reservations and Payments
Your reservation must be accompanied by the initial payment of the agreed portion of the costs of your stay and implies acceptance of these General Conditions.
After confirmation of your reservation, you will receive an e-mail confirming the details of your stay (reservation number, arrival and departure date, number of guests and rooms, and prepayment). The remaining payment is due 72 hours before arrival or in cash upon reception of the key in case of a NON-REFUNDABLE rate.
Forms of Payment
Guarantee Payment by debit or credit card, VISA or Mastercard, Amex or Bitcoin is accepted. Card details are required as a guarantee at the time of booking for the reservation to be considered valid.
VAT
All prices listed on our website or elsewhere for rooms and services at Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA include VAT (the general sales tax in Croatia). If VAT rates change, we reserve the right to change our prices accordingly.
Children/Infants
Since hotel is ADULTS-ONLY, Accommodation is not allowed for babies or children less than 16 years. All guests above 16 years of age are considered adults in paying terms.
Pets
Only small Pets up to 5 kilo's are allowed in general. However, please check the possibility in your specific case. Surcharge per pet/day is Euro 20.00
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed throughout the Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA, except the open air considering other guests.
2 - Reservation cancellation policy
At the NON-REFUNDABLE rate, there is no refund of the prepaid amount.
Cancellations made more than 21 days before the arrival date will not incur any charges. For cancellations made between 21 and 8 days prior to arrival, the first three night's stay will be charged. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, full face value of the reservation will be charged.
If we have to change or cancel your reservation
We do not expect to have to make changes to your reservation, however, sometimes problems occur and reservations must be changed or cancelled. We will only change or cancel your booking if necessary to carry out or complete essential repair or renovation work, or for other reasons unforeseen at the time you made your booking which are beyond our reasonable control.
If we have to change or cancel your booking, we will use our reasonable endeavours to offer you a suitable alternative booking. If we are unable to offer you a suitable alternative, or if you do not accept the alternative we offer, we will refund the full amount you paid us for the booking but you will have no further liability for any other loss you may suffer.
3 - Arrivals / Departures
Arrivals
Please provide us with your best estimate of arrival time. Check-in takes place between 16:00 and 21:00. If guests arrive earlier, we will do our best to store their luggage until they get into their room, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. For arrivals after 21:00, please let us know in advance to see how best to facilitate arrival.
Departures
As a general rule, check-out should be done before 11:00. If guests wish, subject to availability, we will try to store their luggage at our reception, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.
Check-in and check-out outside the stipulated times will be allowed, provided that the rooms are vacant and subject to availability.
4 - Housekeeping
The Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA guarantees optimal room hygiene conditions, with its specialized cleaning staff who perform a thorough cleaning and disinfection before the guests' arrival and after their departure. In addition, cleaning will be done and the beds will be made daily. Stays of more than 4 nights include a weekly change of bed linen and towels. With regard to towels, in the interest of environmental conservation, you are kindly requested not to throw them on the floor for replacement unless absolutely necessary.
5 - Courtesy to others
In consideration of other guests, we ask that you respect those who wish to sleep. For this reason, please do not raise your voice after 23:00 and leave the terrace/garden at 24:00. Parties are strictly prohibited unless specifically authorized.
6 - Data protection
The confidentiality and secrecy of all personal information provided by guests will be maintained. The data is entered into the system of the Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA for reservations and contact information. In accordance with European data protection legislation, guests can rectify or cancel their data whenever they wish. 7 - Liability
The Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA is not responsible for damage caused by guests, loss, theft or accidents inside or outside the room. If guests leave the key in the lock and it is necessary to call a technician, the respective charges will be assigned to the guests.
8 - Our access rights
In addition to daily cleaning services, our staff or maintenance team may need to access your room if there is an unforeseen problem, investigate a complaint you have made, or perform certain routine checks of the property. Should this occur, we will do our best to inform you in advance of the date and time we will need access.
9 - Our right to evict
We may terminate our contract with you and ask you to leave your accommodation immediately if
- We believe that you or your company have committed a breach of these terms and conditions;
- We consider that your or your company's behavior endangers the safety of our visitors or our staff;
- Complaints of anti-social or unacceptable behavior are made against you or your company;
- Your person or your company causes irreparable damage to property or its contents;
- Exceed the maximum occupancy limit of your accommodation.
10 - Events beyond our control
We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms and conditions caused by an event beyond our control.
An event beyond our control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, strikes or industrial action by third parties, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat of war, civil unrest, riot, invasion or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
11 - Miscellaneous
Guests may not use the rooms for commercial or immoral purposes.
The Hotel VILLA ADRIATICA reserves the right to modify at any time the information contained on its website for online reservations and is the sole owner of its content.
In the event that guests have requested a specific room, every effort will be made to fulfill their wishes, but we reserve the right to change the room initially assigned.
These terms and conditions are governed by Croatian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Croatian courts.
12 - If you have a problem or complaint
We take great care to ensure that our property is of the highest standard. However, if you have a problem with your room, please contact us immediately and give us the opportunity to resolve it. Please contact our team by phone at or email . We will work with you to ensure that all complaints are investigated and resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.
